Compare the Figs and Kiwis matte vinyl stickers for planner layouts: size, finish, and durability, plus which fruit design fits your journal style.
Quick answer
For most planner spreads, choose the Kiwis sticker if you want a slightly wider, landscape-friendly shape; choose the Figs sticker if a square, compact accent suits your layout better. Both share the same waterproof matte vinyl construction, so the decision comes down to size and the fruit illustration you prefer.
Size difference that affects planner placement
The Kiwis sticker measures about 2.25 by 2 inches, giving it a slightly rectangular footprint that fits well along horizontal planner lines or beside weekly headers. The Figs sticker measures about 2.25 by 2.25 inches, a true square that works neatly in grid-based layouts or as a corner anchor.
Neither sticker is large enough to dominate a page, but the half-inch height difference can matter in tight monthly calendars or narrow margin spaces. If you plan to place stickers inside small daily boxes, the shorter Kiwis shape leaves more room for writing.
Shared matte vinyl finish and durability
Both stickers are printed on waterproof, scratch-resistant vinyl and laminated with a smooth matte finish. That means they resist smudges and light moisture, and the matte surface reduces glare compared with glossy stickers, which is helpful when you photograph your planner pages or read them under a desk lamp.
Because the finish is the same, you won't see a texture mismatch if you use both designs on the same spread. The difference is purely visual and dimensional, not a difference in how long the stickers last.
Illustration style and color palette
Both designs are illustrated with oil pastels, giving them a soft, hand-drawn look that suits journal pages and scrapbook layouts. The Figs sticker uses the deep purple and green tones typical of figs, while the Kiwis sticker leans on green and brown. If your planner has a warm or earthy color scheme, either can work, but the figs may stand out more against pale pages.
Keep in mind that oil pastel illustrations can vary slightly in texture from sticker to sticker, so no two are exactly identical. That variation is part of the handmade feel, but it means you shouldn't expect a perfectly uniform color block across a pack.
Trade-offs to weigh before you buy
- Square vs rectangular footprint: The Figs sticker's 2.25 by 2.25 inch square suits grid-based layouts and corner placement; the Kiwis sticker's 2.25 by 2 inch rectangle fits better along horizontal lines and in narrow spaces. Measure your planner's daily boxes before ordering if space is tight.
- Color contrast on the page: Figs bring deep purple and green tones that stand out against pale or neutral pages; kiwis use green and brown that blend more subtly into earthy spreads. Pick based on whether you want the sticker to pop or recede.
- Identical durability, different illustration: Both share the same waterproof, scratch-resistant matte vinyl and oil pastel style, so you're not sacrificing longevity by choosing one over the other. The real difference is the fruit motif and the slight size variation. If you like both designs, there's no durability penalty for mixing them in one planner.
